Here are our most frequently asked questions. 

General Questions

All of our Built-to-Last outdoor furniture is built using 100% recycled High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) Lumber that is solid color throughout with UV-inhibited pigments. The HDPE material is resistant to corrosive substances, oil, fuels, fungi, insects, and salt spray. It does not absorb moisture and will not rot, splinter, become chalky, or crack.

All Built-to-Last outdoor furniture contains UV-inhibited pigments that will reduce the chance of fading.

All hardware in Built-to-Last furniture is assembled using Marine Grade 316 Stainless Steel material to prevent rusting due to the harshest conditions such as salt air.

For example, a Built-to-Last Adirondack chair weighs 60 lbs. This is due to the use of 2×4 and 2×6 sized commercial grade High Density Polyethylene in the construction of our furniture. Many of our coastal clients appreciate this difference, as our furniture withstands movement from wind.

Yes! We warrant our furniture for 25 years for our residential customers and 10 years for our commercial customers. Click here for more information!

No! While our furniture is built for the harsh saltwater conditions of coastal living, our furniture is found around pools, in backyards, on ranches and rooftop city gardens, and on porches, decks and docks, in all 50 states as well as in the Bahamas (and various Caribbean Islands), Peru, Norway, Canada, Denmark, England, France, Sweden, Ireland, Iceland, and Spain!

Design & Colors

Yes, we have standard solid & two-tone color options. The two-tone option is a $30 upcharge from the base product price.

You can customize your order through the use of multiple colors. However, we cannot accommodate modifications to the design of our furniture.

Our furniture is so comfortable you don’t need a cushion! However, we will gladly give you the dimensions for a cushion set. Just give us a call and we would be more than happy to help.

Maintenance

We recommend that you select a color or combination of colors in lieu of painting. In fact, due to the use of High Density Polyethylene, our furniture is nearly impossible to paint or stain. In fact, it should never need to be painted, stained, or sealed during ownership of your Built-to-Last Furniture.

Absolutely. A 1,500psi max. pressure washer can be used to clean your Built-to-Last furniture without affecting the finish. Click here for more details.

Purchasing

We take orders online, over the phone, and in person! If you have questions about any details, please call and talk with one of our sales team.

Customers have the option of a 50% down payment, or paying in full at the time of purchase. This allows us to get started on your order right away. For larger purchases, or commercial orders, please contact us about a deposit schedule.

We do not sell on Amazon or in stores other than our own. We believe the best way to ensure quality furniture and customer service is to be factory direct! In this way we are able to give you the absolute best price and best service.

We are a factory direct furniture store; therefore, we don’t have an additional markup for retail. For inquiries about any special offers, please call our sales team.

Shipping & Delivery

We ship based on the current Freight or UPS rates. Our logistics department works hard to ensure you are receiving the cheapest fare for your order.

Yes! We offer delivery of fully assembled furniture to the local surrounding area! Our delivery team is top notch and will take every precaution needed when delivering your furniture. They will also place the furniture at the home or wherever you like on your property.

  • For our Texas customers we deliver throughout the DFW area and within 150 miles of our Granbury facility.
  • For our North Carolina customers, we offer delivery to Currituck County, Elizabeth City, Edenton, Camden the Outer Banks (from Corolla all the way to the Ocracoke ferry) and to Lake Gaston. Other areas call for rates and availability.
  • For our Virginia customers, we offer delivery to the Hampton Roads area, Williamsburg, and James City County. We also offer delivery service to Richmond and the Eastern Shore. If you are not sure where you fall on this map just give us a call and we will be happy to assist you.

Depending on the shipping method being used, our boxed furniture shipped by UPS or FedEx will require some minor assembly. In less than 30 minutes the few pre-assembled pieces can be screwed together. We will include instructions and a drill bit for you. If you run into any questions while assembling, just give our office a call and we will happily walk you through it!

Showroom & Factory

Yes! We love to show off our craft. We are happy to offer tours through our production facility Mon-Thurs. We do ask that if you want to bring a larger group that an advanced notice be given so we can be fully prepared for your visit.
